This part is used to insert a 1-1/4" Sch 40 pipe into the ground after the initial hole is opened with the compression point. The point is screwed into the PVC pipe and cuts threads on the inside of the pipe much like a tap. The Push Point will have the same as the outside diameter of the pipe itself. After the Push Point is attached the pipe then this assembly is shoved into the hole made by the compression point. As it proceeds, roots or fragments of rock or debris that are encountered will be moved back out of the way to allow the pipe to be inserted. As the point emerges into the exit pit, it is simple removed from the PVC pipe by unscrewing it. The outside of the pipe will be clean and ready to receive a fitting.
