Sled Guide - SG200
The sled guide is used to support the shafts. It holds them up off of the ground and keeps them from sliding side to side while they are being driven in so as to maintain a straight trajectory.
HOW IT WORKS:
#1. Place the shaft, point and impact cap assembly onto the sled guide in the middle of the shaft, with the point close to the dirt at the entrance point.
#2. Slide the shaft forward to set the point into the dirt. “ Entrance Point”.
#3 As the shafts are driven forward and the impact cap comes in contact with the back end of the sled guide, just keep hitting the impact cap with the sledge hammer. The sled guide will self advance from the sledge hammer blows against the impact cap.

Jack Hammer Adapter - JH2001 
This part allows a jack hammer to be used to drive a Bullet mole into the ground. It connects the Bullet Mole's impact cap to a jack hammer. Each adapter has 2 sizes of holes so that an SDS Max. or the larger 1-1/8" Hex shank can be used.
HOW IT WORKS:
Simply slide the large end of the jack hammer adapter over the impact cap then insert the sawed off, blunted steel bit from either an SDS max or a 1-1/8" hex bit into the back end of the adapter. Either an electric or pneumatic jack hammer may be used
Extraction Chain - EX201 
This part is not always needed but is essential when the shafts become difficult to remove after going through a lot of rocks/roots or over long distances with buried debris.
In these cases the extraction chain is attached to the shafts and provides a secure connection between the shafts and another tool such as a slide hammer sledge or digging bar hook, which can be implemented to extract the shafts from the ground and pull in the conduit at the same time. Made of grade 70 hardened Chain with a pull out capacity of 3500 LBS
Even though the point opens a hole larger than the shafts, as roots are split, rocks fractured, or gravel encountered, these can push back and scrape against the larger diameter of the shafts. Also resistance can increase when pulling in rolls of poly pipe which have a natural curve from being in rolls, so the pipe will scrape against the sides of the hole.
HOW IT WORKS:
#1. Connect the extraction chain to the female threaded end of the shaft by turning the allen bolt located in the center of the hoist ring attached to the male thread. The bolt and the thread are connected so that they will turn as one piece.
#2. Slide the handle of the sledge hammer or digging bar into the ring on the opposite end of the extraction chain.
#3 Use the sledgehammer as a slide hammer to bang the tool out backwards. Or the digging bar as leverage to “jack” the tool out backwards.
Pull Connectors:
Pull Connectors are used for pulling back through loose material (such as pea gravel) or if you simply desire to install a continuous length of pipe without joints in long run situations, typically 10 - 20 ft.
Tapered Pull Connector,¾” -1” Pipe
The Tapered Pull Connector is used to make the connection between the pipe or conduit and the Bullet Mole shafts before they are extracted. This connector will connect to any soft wall “POLY” pipe ranging from 1/2" to 1". Then, as the shafts are extracted the pipe or conduit is pulled into the hole behind them.
It can be used with Data conduit for fiber - Poly pipe for water lines - Polyethylene pipe for gas lines Etc... (This connector fits all types ).
HOW IT WORKS:
#1. Connect the Pull Connector to the intended pipe. Simply thread it directly into the pipe. As it is threaded in, it will cut its own threads into the pipe like a tap, no fittings needed.
#2. Remove the compression point in the exit pit.
#3. The adapter and pipe assembly is lowered into the exit pit and the opposite end of the adapter ( which swivels) is connected to the shaft in place of the compression point.
4. Extract the shafts from the entrance trench and the pipe will be pulled in behind it
Tapered Pull Connector 1-¼” Pipe
The Tapered Pull Connector is used to make the connection between the pipe or conduit and the Bullet Mole shafts before they are extracted. NPT 3/4” & 1” Combo - PC10T
This pull connector is used to attach any ½”, 3/4" or 1" NPT (National Pipe Thread) Fitting to the Male threaded end of the Shafts. It has a 1” NPT female thread. (Thread by thread), reducer bushings should be used if smaller ¾” or ½” fittings are required.
HOW IT WORKS:
#1. A male adapter is either glued or soldered onto the intended pipe.
#2 The NPT pull connector is then threaded onto the male adapter, connecting it to the pipe.
#3. Remove the compression point in the exit pit.
#4. The adapter and pipe assembly is lowered into the exit pit and the opposite end of the adapter ( which swivels) is connected to the shaft in place of the compression point.
#5. As the shafts are extracted, the pipe or conduit is pulled into the hole behind them.
Note: Some of the fittings can include those for copper, PVC, PEX, Poly water pipe or polyethylene gas line.
