This part is made of stainless steel and is used to insert 1/2"-1" "k" or "L" wall copper pipe into the ground after the initial hole is opened with the compression point. The push point is inserted into the end of the copper pipe. There are 2 half pipe indicator lines cut into the point. Transfer the length of both lines, straight across and onto the copper pipe. ( Remove The point after marking the pipe). Drill a 1/8" hole through the sidewall of the pipe at the end of the line transfered to the copper pipe. It should be 5/8 of an inch long from the end of the pipe. Rotate the pipe 180 degrees and drill the second hole in like manner. After the holes are drilled then insert the Push Point into the pipe and align the hole in the point with the holes in the pipe. Insert a piece of wire all the way through both holes in the pipe and twist it together. This will lock the point to the pipe so that it will not detatch when pulled backward. The point has the same outside diameter as the pipe itself. After the Push Point is attached to the pipe, then this assembly is shoved into the hole made by the compression point. As it proceeds, roots, fragments of rock or debris that are encountered will be moved back out of the way to allow the pipe to be inserted. As the point emerges into the exit pit, simply remove the wire from the pipe then remove the point.
Searched for a while and found this to be a great addition for several short to medium length fiber optic bores. Sidewalks no problem even went under 30' of road, though I recommend getting the jack hammer attachment. definitely recommend the product and the help I received from Tim. LOVE THIS THING!
The Bullet Mole has recently been introduced to us, and we are extremely satisfied with both the product and the support provided by their team. We started with the rental of the sidewalk kit just to test the waters, and it worked great! No need for power, generator, compressors, and best of all very easy to use. Just a shovel and a sledge hammer and good to go. After our experience with the rental we ended up purchasing the Pro Pack and I see it being a great asset in our tool box for years to come.

Great solution for small business or DIY.
We had a gas leak under a concrete drive with about a span of approx. 30ft. We looked at several options before settling on this kit along with some extras. Steve was extremely helpful and accommodating to what we needed for the job and gave us some tips for using the equipment. After using this kit with great success on this job, I highly recommend this option for boring a hole under a slab of concrete.

Water line Replacement
I HAD TO CHANGE A WATERLINE AND dIDN’T want to cut 18 fEET of concrete to get to REACH THE waterline (with renting the backHOE and equipment to dig 6 feet for me). I decided to try this product and it WORKED like a charm. I’m so PLEASED and satisfied with the result even WITH our ground BEING very rocky. It went smooth, better than I expected. I HIGHLY recommended THIS PRODUCT.
